FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS

What is it?

Fat Dissolving injections are a minimally invasive option for those who want to reduce stubborn pockets of local subcutaneous fat.

These injections can be used to treat unwanted, exercise resistant pockets of fat around the chin, chest, underarm pouches, bra fat, upper arms, abdomen, thighs, knees and ankles. It is very effective for body contouring, but is not a treatment for weight loss.

How does it work?
Fat dissolving injections are incredible compounds that work to break down the membranes of the fat cells beneath the skin that are typically resistant to exercise, by disrupting fat cells making them unstable. These cells then begin to break down and flush out through the body via the lymphatic system. This treatment can be permanent as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The fluid remains active in the target area for 4 weeks, at which point a repeat treatment can be undertaken until desired results are achieved.

How long does it last?
Results are permanent! This treatment will permanently remove the targeted fat cells (but it won't stop you gaining new fat cells so keep up with the healthy lifestyle).

How long does the treatment take? 
You can treat an area in under 10 minutes; it is a very rapid treatment - perfect for a lunch break!

Does it hurt?
This surprises almost every client, but it is a very comfortable treatment and is so quick to have done.

Healing period
Whilst with any needle treatment, there is a risk of slight redness and bruising, this treatment carries no downtime and you are able to resume daily activities immediately.

Risks & Complications
You may have some localised tenderness, swelling and bruising - however these are only temporary and should subside within a few days of treatment. In the very rare instance of an infection, robust aftercare will always be provided.

Who is suitable?
Suitable for clients over 18, subject to a full consultation. We will never suggest this treatment to you, unless you express a desire to change an area, and we will be honest and say if we feel it is not suitable for you, or an alternative is better suited to you.

What happens at the appointment?
Every appointment begins with a thorough consultation, and completion of a medical questionnaire. We will answer any questions you may have, and we fully inform you of any potential risks and complications. We discuss realistic expectations so both parties are satisfied with the outcome. Once you have made an informed decision, you will sign a consent form and photographs will be taken as part of the medical record.
